CODING FOR KIDS: HOW YOUR CHILDREN CAN LEARN TO CODE TODAY

In today’s digital age, knowing how to code can be likened to being able to read. When we teach our children to read and write, add and subtract, we’re teaching them ways to interact with the world around us. Considering our world is becoming more and more digital, filled with smart devices that allow us to turn on our lights 15 minutes before we arrive home or lock our front doors as we leave, learning to code will help kids better understand –and control– their world. The reality is, anyone can learn to code. Coding is nothing more than telling your computer what to do in a language the computer understands. And the sooner we accept this, the sooner we can equip our children with the right tools. As parents and teachers, we should strive to give our kids the best possible education and tools so they can thrive in an entrepreneurial and innovation-led society.

Child Computer Coding

Here are 9 benefits to find out coding with programming robots for teenagers.

1. Creativity-

Coding empowers children to consume digital technology but even be the producers of it. rather than just playing a game, they will envision making one themselves and even create one.

2. Computational Thinking-

By learning to code, children also will learn computational thinking which enables them to develop cognitive skills and learn logical and sequential thought processes. during this way, they're going to be ready to test their code, spot any errors and quickly solve them easily. this will even be applied to other situations and can help students altogether areas of life.

3. Collaboration-

Coding also encourages collaboration as kids work alongside their peers, no matter every race, gender and background, as they're joined by a standard interest of technology and their project work. Students collaborate with fellow students and share what they learn with their teachers and fogeys .

4. Communication-

Communication is a crucial skill that's required throughout school, work and life. When kids learn to code, they learn to speak with technology. This teaches them the way to break down complex ideas, arrange and share them.

5. Persistence-

Learning to code may be a challenge for college kids as tackling complex problems are often frustrating. Through coding, young students are ready to , through persistence, complete the task at hand.

6. Understanding-

Students are ready to better understand the planet around them with programming knowledge. It can change the way they interact with the technologies used daily and may introduce them to new possibilities.

7. Career-

Coding provides career advantages as these students have an understanding and delight for STEAM which will take them into many desirable career paths.

8. Logic-

Since reasoning is required for the coding of robots, students are ready to formulate step by step sequences to make a desirable outcome. during this way, children also are ready to avoid problems by anticipating them, testing, and fixing their code.

9. Algorithmic Thinking-

Along with these skills, kids also learn algorithmic thinking which is that the ability to define clear steps to unravel a drag . It enables kids to unravel problems by breaking them down into a step by step procedure.

CCC enable kids of age 7 to 14, to learn all of the basic coding ideas and skills used by real computer programmers.

Coding is how we interact with computers and what we use to construct and run websites, video games, apps etc. Learning to code means to learn to speak and write in the computer’s language. While this may seem hard, technology is a huge part of children’s life today and it is essential for young students to learn how to design, develop and communicate with digital technology. Some even say that coding is the new literacy.
